MEET OUR CATECHISTS

We have a new First grade catechist, Mrs. Nora Mascarinas.  She and her family have been parishioners for many years.  Her children completed their sacraments in our Religious Education program and now she is back with us to help other children.  She struggles to get the free time to come and teach little ones but realizes the importance of this.  Her first grade class is busy learning their prayers.

Mrs. Mary Jane Kollman is our third grade catechist.  Mary Jane taught CCD when her children were in the program. Now she has been back with us for the last 10 years.  Mrs. Kollman is involved in many ministries in our parish including Ministers of Care and Eucharistic Minister.

Here at St. Domitilla our children make their first reconciliation and their First Communion in the third grade.  Our third grade students, under the instruction of Mrs. Kollman are working hard.  The children love this special teacher who is frequently visited by former students and their parents.  Mary is loved by all she comes in contact with.
